Company Profile

Sisco Merchandising was founded in South Africa in 1989 and over a period of 10 years became one of the leading supply companies of promotional and branded products in the country.

With an increasing number of enquiries coming from Europe and the United Kingdom, Sisco established an independent company based in the UK in 1999.

This has grown from strength to strength and now has a solid client base of Blue Chip companies throughout Europe.

The Team

Alex van Oortmerssen - Managing Director
Alex is originally from South Africa and a founder member of Sisco (SA) and Managing Director of Sisco Merchandising UK. He works closely with major clients and has a wealth of experience in sourcing the 'right product at the right price'. His expertise in Importing and sourcing stems from 30 years within the import/export industries.

Jan van Oortmerssen - Company Secretary/Accountant.
Jan works together with Alex, her husband, and is a co-founder of Sisco (UK). This formidable partnership gives Sisco a solid base. Jan handles all the administration, IT needs and accounts for the business. Jan brings 20 years of experience in accounting and company administration to the table.

Jane Murray - Account Director (Wales and South West)
Jane has been with Sisco since its opening in the UK. Jane has over 20 years sales, PR and marketing experience in the international Wine & Spirits market both here and abroad. With experience from both client and agency side
Jane views all activities from every angle and as she's always on the look out for new and exciting items and new twists on proven favourites, you can rest assured she won't leave any stone unturned for your promotion. Jane has a wealth of experience in all aspects of promotion from concept, type and consumer targeting, through to mechanics, logistics and post evaluation. She loves a challenge and is proud to make you, your brand and your activity look really good.
